Not every day you ever hear about a feline sanctuary in Vincennes.  Not every day you hear about the struggles felines go through.  

Barbara Grannan Carie Feline Sanctuary is in the heart of Vincennes; ran by Pat and Tricia Carie, brother and sister.    This sanctuary was named after  their mother. Their mother was later diagnosed with cancer and had passed away in 1997.  In 2016, this sanctuary became a 501 c3 non profit organization.

Here is what the facility does:

This facility helps felines with chronic illness, behavior issues, abused, abandoned, and even given second chances.  This even includes Feral felines.   

The support for these types of Felines  are not limited  but include: hospice, behavior supprt, medical care, and nutrtion support for special diets: Otherwise these felines would be euthanized without this facility support.

We are currently facing a financial challenge with our cat litter supply as our daily operating expenses total $400 per day, and we have yet to receive the freight bill for the litter. When we receive the freight bill it will be longer to wait for the litter to be delivered! We are finding out there are months between shipments that we will have to purchase our own! We urgently need assistance with everything to be honest! We do not get funding or do we get set funding yearly we are not city county or state funded
